I am Sandra, actress, filmmaker, entrepreneur and I need to do it all to be happy.
I love to create projects that I am truly passionate about, there is no greater thrill and satisfaction. I thrive to work with people who share my obsession about acting, producing and directing. I am all about sharing great ideas AND making them happen.
I started acting professionally at the age of 14 and never looked back. Acting has always been in my life and I need it to satisfy a certain urge to express myself. After studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in NY I moved to LA and started working on many Comedies including a wonderful exprience with Sasha Baron Cohen on Brüno... Guest Stars on TV shows such as CSI NY and In Case of Emergency directed by John Faverau followed soon after. Currently I am starring in my own projects, I have made 3 short films and I am developing my first feature film. I also star in a webseries called Journeyman to be released this year, 2015.
In 2011, I followed my heart and founded an International Film Festival in my home town of Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Mallorca is a beautiful island in the Mediterranean and it just felt right do 'go for it' and see what happens.
Since the first Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival in 2012, EMIFF has grown every year at a pace i could have never imagined. Embraced by the European and International independent movie scene it has flourished in all aspects, becoming the new hip film event for innovative and provocative upcoming creative filmmakers from all around the world. Last year (2014) the press called it the Meditteranean Sundance!
Of cause this makes me very happy, as it's exactly what I am going for. I am always looking for new partners who want to join the festival family! Just shoot me an email!
